Share: One *good* thing about sitting in a holding pattern on our flight from Sydney to Melbourne for over an hour on Friday night was that I got to watch more and more of Mike Nichols’ 1988 US classic, Working Girl…

And, as you can see, it was from the 1980s eyeshadow that I took *most* inspiration for my Saturday’s outfit!

Share: *Technically* my eyebrows are purple here, but I’m just not sure the colour is coming through enough… may need to test more! And, of course, the *beloved* Ken Done large 1980s frames. I love. The Hawaiian First Officer does not. Fantastic!

Share: Just returning to *Ken Done Love* after some recent press from The Vine about my What Ken Be Done project and KD’s influence on Australian fashion. The article’s title is ‘Australia’s Top 10 Fashion Brands’. And who knows, maybe in a few short years we will be reading about the influence The Social Studio fashion brand has had on our contemporary Australian landscape, including better, and more creative, opportunities for people from refugees backgrounds. I just know *something* like this is going to happen, in fact, I know it must.

Share: Somehow, in the moving house process, I’ve misplaced my The Social Studio silk fabric necklace… Of course, I only worked this out this morning as I ran crazily around trying to locate it, as I had a morning meeting with Rupal from &Able first up (a very interesting social venture by the way, take a look). No luck on locating the said necklace, so instead I went with The Social Studio silk dyed scarf in my hair, and wore instead this *magnificent* Jimmy Pike for Oroton vintage silk scarf. Jimmy Pike is a genius. Jenny Kee is a genius. Oh how I love Australian fashion!

Meeting Rupal was lovely, and I have more meetings this afternoon. Slowly, slowly, I work to get the word out about the opportunity of The Social Studio coming to Sydney out there. Let’s hope this transforms into financial support for our social enterprise venture too… of course, I want The Social Studio to one day be as loved as our 1980s Australian fashion icons of Jimmy Pike, Jenny Kee, Linda Jackson, and Ken Done… knowing as well, that The Social Studio is *doing good in a fashion*
