Show / Share: Some mornings – as I’m about to head out for a day of work – I wonder to myself, ‘what can I say to people that’s interesting, *fun* and keeps sharing my passion for what I’m doing about The Social Studio?’

And then – LIKE MAGIC – when checking my emails, I find a dear friend like Christine, has overnight sent in a *gorgeous* photo of herself wearing a The Social Studio jacket. Just beautiful, totally fantastic: pictures can often say so much more than words. Chris tells me this jacket is a favourite with her grandson, and I think we can all agree, you look so *sophisticated and sassy* Thanks Chris xo xo. Go The Social Studio!

Show: Did I hear you ask, what would it look like if I wore The Social Studio in New York? BAM! Like this:

Share: This is my spectacular sister-in-law, Susan, serving it up, NY-style. She took her silk The Social Studio dress all the way across the globe to America, just to capture this fabulous photo atop the Rockefeller Centre at sunset. And, if you take a look at the happy-yet-envious glance of the passerby, you just *know* the decision was a right one. The Social Studio is wonderful, and so too are you, Susan: thank you! xo xo (And I assume you prefer this style to 1980s Ken Done gold, yes? You’ve been a supporter for such a long time. Hooray again!)

As for me, I’m just back in my lounge room, dreaming big dreams for The Social Studio in Sydney…

Show: No your eyes are not deceiving you, you have just stumbled (back) into some Ken-Done-Love territory!

Share: Last week Birdmonkey sent me an email with the subject line: Ken Done Hangover, and therein were these photos of some Ken Done spotting. Priceless!

And then, Mikaylee – who is in year 7 – sent me an email asking me all about Ken Done for her art project, because she’d come across What Ken Be Done while doing research. She also wrote: “I think what you are doing for young people from refugee backgrounds is great, and I can’t wait for your  (Ken Done Fan) answers!” So, naturally, I had to share the love with you too… Hope you enjoy! xo

Birdmonkey: “The first photo is of a doll in the window of the Country Women’s Association shop in Launceston.” Go the CWA!

And then Birdmonkey writes: “When Rachel walked into an opening at the Canberra Glass Works I saw from across the room that she was wearing the iconic KD scarf, so I ran over and totally mobbed her. She said her work colleges (at some public service department) did comment on the scarf! They didn’t appriciate its iconic (or even ironic) beauty. Well I did!”
